LET’S SEE, car wash coming down to make way for the Miners Village parking lot on Sacramento street behind the Plaza Grocery; that’s about it. The Miners Village site is out of the picture in foreground. Correct answers in response to this photo have been more than usual. Seems our TIMELINE/HISTORY guy came up with an easy one. OK, let’s mention a few names: first in was Jim Valdez, followed just minutes later by John Griffin who gets half credit, he failed to mention the car wash; then came a whole host of others; I can only mention a few and by last name only: Holbrook, Davis, Hanley, Bertoli, Coleman, Valcenchini and Luckinbill, came in within the first 24 hours.

Now, today’s overview of where? There are clues in the photo even though our TIMELINE/HISTORY guy objected to its use because he said, “It’ll be too easy, even our newer residents will get it!” As always, we’ll respond to all answers.
