Tickets might still be left for McCutcheon

Tonight’s KVMR NightLive! concert with folk singer John McCutcheon at the Miners Foundry Cultural Center sold out last week.

But Tim O’Brien, the concert’s producer, said a few tickets might be available for listeners who don’t mind standing in the back.

McCutcheon performs annually here to sold-out houses. The songwriter is known for his guitar and hammered dulcimer playing and Americana-style songs.

He has 25 albums out and received a Grammy nomination in 1982, along with five more from 1996 to 2000.

For those fans without tickets, the 8 p.m. concert will be broadcast live on 89.5 FM.

The Foundry is at 325 Spring St., Nevada City. Tickets are $12 for KVMR members; $14 general and $7 for youth 12 and under.

Call 265-9073 with any questions.
