Thomas Haley

A memorial service for Thomas Haley of Grass Valley will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Chapel of the Angels.

Mr. Haley died Tuesday, Aug. 20. He was 54.

He was born April 20, 1948, in Long Beach to Walter and Ida (Evans) Haley. He was a 1966 Nevada Union High School graduate and a masonry contractor who enjoyed motorcycle riding, composing music, and playing guitar.



He is survived by sons Zachery Haley of Bellingham, Wash., Evan Haley of Manteca, Lyle Haley and Wyatt Haley, both of Grass Valley; mother, Ida Beckett of Grass Valley; brother, Tim Haley of Grass Valley; and sisters Susan Mellana of Bass Lake and Starla Hughey of Penn Valley.

He was preceded in death by his father.




In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to a trust fund established for his young sons Lyle and Wyatt at Tri-County Bank, inside Albertson’s in Grass Valley.

Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of the Angels.
