Think again

In answer to a letter that ran April 1, I would like to point out your indecent, if not hypocritical, lack of respect; respect for people’s ideologies, religions and political affinities. You can disagree without necessarily pitching nonconstructive hatred and bigotry, political or not.

I don’t know why some have to raise the “patriotic” red-flag every time something displeases them. The people you are verbally lynching have recently been elected by American citizens; do you then mean the majority of this country is not patriotic?

If your definition of patriotism is to throw disrespectful terms, if not bullets, at people with different opinions or treat them as enemies, I understand why you can’t find a common ground.

As far as I remember, most of the facts you have misplaced have roots from the time before your nemesis got into power. I am not an American and from my perspective, this political system could use more credibility and accountability.
