There are good reasons to shop locally

In response to Ms. Archer, who “no longer shops locally” (The Union, March 7), we own a small, friendly, very efficient, customer service-based handyman business. We do a great deal of appliance installations for a local appliance store. To our knowledge, that appliance business provides all services, including covering warranties and ordering parts (which we then make an appointment to install)

We do repair, restoration and remodeling in all aspects of home maintenance.

Our customer base is loyal. We always treat them courteously and honestly because in the competitive repair and remodeling business, our customers must be our No. 1 priority.

It is unfortunate that Ms. Archer had to drive to Roseville.
