Theodore Kinyon

No services will be held for Theodore “Ted” Kinyon of Big Oak Valley. Mr. Kinyon passed away June 30 at Sierra Nevada Memorial hospital. He was 75.

Mr. Kinyon was born Dec. 3, 1931, to James Alvin Kinyon and Evelyn Fisher in Santa Maria. He completed two years of college and served four years in the United States Navy.

On July 1, 1961, he married Sandy Dille in Reno, Nev. Mr. Kinyon worked for the California Department of Transportation for 28 years, retiring in 1993.



He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sandy Kinyon of Big Oak Valley; daughters Yvonne Johnson and her husband, Kevin, of Yuba City, and Sheri Starr and her husband, Kit, of Yuba City; brother, James Kinyon and his wife, Donna, of Idaho; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and lots of friends.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. David Campbell and his staff.




Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
