Theater gives students a creative outlet

Regional arts marketing professional and stage director Alexi Bonifield created Fubar Theater this fall to provide college students with a performance experience.

Fubar Theater, comprised of local and regional actors, writers, students and activists, will annually present four plays that contain strong social commentary, adult humor and satire.

3I am so delighted to have found such a wide range of creative, enthusiastic artists from the college and the community to start this company with me,² Bonifield said. 3It1s way cool to be the first production at the Off Center Playhouse!²

Auditions for the next Fubar Theater performance, Justin Ove1s 3Pieces of Us² is set for Feb. 11 and Feb. 12. Ten men at least 20-years-old and one woman 19-or-older will be cast.
