The Brazilianaires cap off this year’s final Thursday Night Marketplace

The Brazilianaires will host a free Latin dance concert during the final Thursday Night Marketplace and Farmers Market, 6 to 9 p.m. tonight on the City Hall Stage in downtown Grass Valley.

The Nevada City-based Brazilianaires perform the music of Brazil and beyond, music that transports the audience to an exotic world of musical beauty, rhythm, and soothing sounds as your heart listens and your feet dance

Vocalist Florencia grew up in Buenos Aires singing the Brazilian and Argentine repertoire from an early age.

Guitar and vocalist Stephen Holland has traveled extensively in Brazil, Peru and Mexico, performing and absorbing the music.

Bassist, percussionist and vocalist Rob Holland has played Cuban son and salsa for years, studied in Cuba and recorded with Cuban greats.
