The Artist: Tteddy mcvicker of Grass Valley

Job Title: Student. I have been homeschooled my whole life and am presently enrolled in the Forest Charter homeschool program.

Describe your art: My art is pretty easy to do for me. I just look at something and draw it, or I look at something and change it. It is a lot of fun.

How long have you been doing it? I have been doing art as long as I can remember.

Why do you do it? I do art because it’s a habit of mine. I’m addicted to it.

What do you hope to accomplish? One of the things I’d like to accomplish with my art is to be famous and known so I can inspire people around me.

Does your art convey a message? I don’t create my art with a message or great meaning. It just comes to me and I envision it in my mind.

Where do you want to be with this in the future? I would want to work with Disney, possibly make comics or maybe illustrate books.

Any special training required? I don’t have any training from classes – just pure talent. I basically taught myself.

Favorite part? My favorite part of doing art is sketching and shading.

Least favorite part? I don’t have a “least favorite” part in art. I love it all.

Time it takes? I spend at least 2 hours a day, just about everyday, drawing.

Is it hard to do? I think anyone can draw as long as they try and put their mind into it.

Other comments: I like to draw for my friends, like the one in the drawing. My best friend, Danielle (BFF, best friend forever), is the one who gave me this idea to draw everybody for this project.
