Take a walk among the wildflowers

Weekend wildflower walks begin Saturday at the South Yuba River State Park, Bridgeport. Continuing for nine weeks, the walks start at 11 a.m. in the north parking lot on Saturday and Sunday. Knowledgable docents lead these hour-long, free walks on a gentle trail. Wear good walking shoes and carry water. Leave your dogs home as they are not allowed on the walks. Group tours may be arranged during the week for a small fee. For more information, contact the ranger station at (530) 432-2546. T
