Tailgators shuts its doors

After less than two years in business Grass Valley’s Tailgators Sports Bar closed its doors this month.

The economy sunk the bar, said owner Vic Hadley. Early this month Tailgators shut down to perform repairs on its sewage system and at that point Hadley said he decided to close down for good.

“We were working on the renovations and that turned into a pretty big deal,” he said. “We couldn’t afford to lose $400 a day.”

He said he may open another restaurant in another location but added nothing firm had been decided.
