Sylvia Skriloff

Memorial services for Sylvia Skriloff of Grass Valley will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Nevada City chapel of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary. Burial will be at Sierra Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Nevada City.

Mrs. Skriloff died Sunday, June 13, at a Sacramento hospital. She was 81.

She was born Nov. 30, 1922, in New York City, N.Y., to Martin and Rose Cass. She married Morris Skriloff on March 14, 1950. She enjoyed her family and friends, and the opera.



She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Fran and Steven Lantz, and Trish and Joseph Hopf; daughter, Nancy Miranda; and grandchildren Casey and Zachary Lantz, Dylan Skriloff, and Joey, Jeremy, and Patrick Hopf and Sara Rose Skriloff. She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Skriloff on Oct. 29, 1994; and son, Martin Skriloff, on June 9, 1994.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
