SUV dumps into Bear River

A man’s condition was unknown after the Ford SUV he was driving flipped into the Bear River Friday afternoon.

The man, whose name was not immediately known, was the sole occupant of the vehicle tumbled into the river where it passes under Dog Bar Road. He was flown by helicopter to Sutter-Roseville Hospital for treatment.

The incident closed the road for more than an hour.
