Suspects sought in attempted abduction of 9-year-old girl

Two men reportedly tried to abduct a 9-year-old girl from the Lyman Gilmore Middle School campus Wednesday evening.

According to authorities, one of the men asked her if she needed a ride home and then grabbed her, but she got away and ran into a classroom.

The suspects were described as:

A white man, about 6 feet tall, with green or blue eyes, with a mole under his nose. He was wearing a red jacket, dark blue pants and white tennis shoes. The other man was also white, with dark skin, a blond and red mohawk, and a clown tattoo on his upper right arm.

Those with information about the attempted abduction or the suspects are asked to call 265-1471.
