Sue Crockett

A celebration of life for Sue (Bonita) Crockett, a former resident of Nevada City who most recently lived in Fremont, Ohio, was conducted at the Green Hills Country Club in Clyde, Ohio.

Mrs. Crockett died Tuesday, March 26, at home. She was 63.

She was born April 19, 1938, in Wyandot County, Ohio, to Alfred and Edna (Brown) Frantz. She married Gerald “Jerry” Crockett on Sept. 22, 1966, in Kenton, Ohio.



She was a homemaker. She had lived Nevada City for 18 years.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Crockett; sons Aren J. Hirt of Fremont and Samuel Crockett of Nevada City; daughters Renee Kindred of Fremont, Randi Schaffer of Nevada City and Jerusha Hall of Truckee; brother Robert Frantz of Clyde; sisters Kay Dew of Lambertville, Mich., Retha Gurney of Findley, Ohio, and Mary Frantz of Cedar Ridge; and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers William, Richard, Jack, Ned and Don Frantz; and sister Donna Hagerty.




Memorial contributions may be made to a hospice or charity of the donor’s choice.
