— Nevada Union Theatre presents its annual “Spring Festival of Plays.” The festival concludes with David Mamet’s children’s production “The Revenge of the Space Pandas.” A spoof of child-inventor-in-outer-space stories. Binky Rudich, a young scientist, and his companions Vivian Mooster and Bob, a sheep, are skyrocketed into space by Binky’s new invention: a two-speed clock. The adventurers land on a planet named “Crestview,” where they encounter swooning lounge singers, dancing pandas, falling pumpkins, and evil aliens. Directed by Dusty Moore, the cast includes Ryan Enright, Lori Caldwell, Alex Bohnhoff, Abby Chroman, Sara Duarte and Jared Moore. Performances are at the Black Box Theatre, Nevada Union High School Campus, 7:30 p.m. Tickets $6. 273-4431 ext. 301.
