Students’ ceramic art to be shown

Five students taking classes from Chic Lotz at the MudHut have been chosen to exhibit their work in the National K-12 Ceramic Exhibit at the National Ceramics Educators Conference in Portland, March 8-11.

Among those honored were Jeffrey Bowen (Flying dragon), Joseph Voors (Indian Village), Alex Ramsey (Lion, Lioness and Lionet), Sally Shilling (Reindeer Dreams) and Rachel Adams (Alight)

Three additional MudHut students earned special mention, including Shemiah Sams (Emerging from the Water), Dana Bowen – (Rainbow Reptile) and Arkady Unterleidner (Dreamy)

Prizes will be awarded at the opening of the show. All of the accepted students will have their work included in the exhibition catalog. The competition is also creating a poster for the exhibit.
