‘Strut Your Mutt’ for AnimalSave

Students from the 49er ROP Animal & Veterinary Careers program will again host the “Strut Your Mutt” event Saturday at Pioneer Park as an AnimalSave benefit.

Four years ago, the 49er ROP class produced this benefit for AnimalSave’s Adoption and Education Center, slated to be built next year.

Beginning at 10:30 a.m. with on-site registrations, Saturday’s event will feature contests and prizes, agility demonstrations, dog product vendors and a dog walk for all participants.

Early registration is encouraged; applications are at AnimalSave Thrift & Treasures in Grass Valley.

A minimum donation of $5 is requested.

Pioneer Park is off Nimrod Street in Nevada City.
