Stevens for a change

What is up with our Board of Supervisors? They lean left, they lean right, and then pretend they are in the middle representing all of us, but they don’t have time because they are too busy disagreeing on why they don’t agree. In the meantime, important issues get argued about and very little gets done.

If the board were a private company, they would have been out of business long ago. I’d like to see someone on the board that is not “the anointed one” from the political parties or local political organizations that recycle the same tired attitudes and viewpoints. It reminds me of the phrase, “If you keep doing the same thing the same way, you’ll always get the same result.”

It’s time for new results! We have a candidate that does not fit the usual BOS mold and who has a track record of being independent, practical, productive and willing to compromise to get things done. If you want to shake things up and change the “stagnant quo,” I hope you will support and vote for Linda Stevens for District 3 supervisor.
