Steve Pieser

Memorial services for Steve Pieser of Palo Cedro will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday at Allen & Dahl in Pal Cedro. The Revs. Paul Hart and Geri Murray will officiate the services.

Mr. Pieser died Friday, Oct. 13, at home. He was 72.

He was born April 14, 1934, in Albany, Ore., to Stephen and Doris (O’Shaughnessy) Pieser. He graduated from Nevada City High School and San Jose State. He served in the U.S. Army for two years. He married Kay on April 14, 1957, in Mill Valley. He moved from Marin County to Palo Cedro in 1971. He owned Redding Cannery Sales for 10 years. He enjoyed golf, fishing, and sports viewing.



He is survived by his wife, Kay Pieser of Palo Cedro; daughters Kim Hess and Tami Maslonka both of Roanake, Texas; sister, Patsy Yanci of Woodland; and four grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Hospice of Redding, or the charity of the donor’s choice.




Arrangements are under the direction of Lawncrest Chapel.
