Spirit Center fundraiser

I have been a member of the Spirit Peer Empowerment Center since we moved up to the house and land we now call the Spirit Center.

I am so proud to be part of Spirit. I’ve been through special training there to facilitate group and individual counseling. I would be nearly alone if it wasn’t for Spirit. As a counselor, I both give and receive so much love.

Often, with mental illness, “the love is the first to go.” A counselor told me this. I found love and understanding at the Spirit Center.

We are now celebrating with a fundraiser, Spirit Fest 4, at the Miners Foundry on Oct. 19. Tickets are $25 at the door and $20 at Spirit Center, BriarPatch Co-op and at The Bookseller and Harmony Books.

Please come and find out what we have to offer. We would love to show you around at 276 Gates Place. Our phone number is 274-1431.
