Sonja Dutrieux

A memorial Mass for Sonja Dutrieux of Grass Valley will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. today at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Grass Valley. Burial will be at Sierra Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Nevada City. Mrs. Dutrieux died Tuesday, April 9, at a local hospital. She was 64.

She was born on April 16, 1937, in Uppsala, Sweden. She married Nobby Dutrieux on Nov. 29, 1959, in Stockholm.



She was a retired beautician. She enjoyed traveling and crafts.




She is survived by her husband, Nobby Dutrieux of Grass Valley; son and daughter-in-law, Kent and Marianne Dutrieux of Richmond; daughter and son-in-law Lolo and Norm Klino of Castro Valley; daughter Jane Dutrieux of Grass Valley; and great-granddaughter Monika Ochoa of Grass Valley.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
