Songwriter Heather Dale to perform at St. Piran’s Day celebration

Celtic singer and songwriter Heather Dale will perform at Grass Valley’s second annual St. Piran’s Day celebration on Saturday, March 11th. Dale performs at the Veterans Building at 7:30 pm. The doors open at 7:00.

Inspired by mythology and history, Dale draws inspiration from her Cornish heritage to write songs that range from Celtic folk to bluesy rock. She performs regularly in her native Canada, where her songs and evocative voice have attracted a wide following. She was recorded five albums for Amphis Music.

Concert tickets are available at the The Book Seller and the Grass Valley/Nevada County Chamber of Commerce, Grass Valley; Record Connection, Glenbrook; Harmony Books and the Nevada City Chamber of Commerce, Nevada City; and the GV Downtown Association. Prices are: evening concert, $10 in advance/$12 at the door. Beverages and snacks will be available at the concert.
