Something to consider

Here’s a once-upon-a-time-never-happened story for the African Americans who choose not to vote for Sen. Barack Obama.

Once upon a time in Egypt, there was a Jewish rabbi who said to the Israelites one Friday evening at synagogue: “Yes, yes, I like this Moses, but what do we really know about his ability to lead? Sure, he was always a good kid and nice to his mother. I know him from a baby; I was the rabbi who performed his circumcision. I watched him grow up. But the Pharaoh’s wife, she is a very nice lady, and so what if we have been slaves for 500 years? At least we have never been without work. I’m just saying that maybe we ought to wait until the time is right to leave Egypt, when Moses is a little older and wiser and doesn’t stutter so much.”
