Solid as rock

District 3 consists of Grass Valley and outlying county precincts. Both the city and the county have unique needs. To both, land use is the most critical. Runaway growth and traffic must be controlled to preserve our community environment.

Former Supervisor Conklin has been identified as a self-serving politicrat. He has scary motives that cause more than trepidation in the hearts of both city and county constituents. Just who is this guy?

Former Mayor Stevens would be great for Grass Valley, is a fine business person and member of the county community. What’s not to like? Unfortunately, she lacks land use experience.

Surveyor and land use businessman, former Grass Valley Chamber of Commerce chair and current county planning commissioner John Spencer daily performs as a county team member on land use issues. Endorsed by all, friendly, focused and non-political, we could rely on his good judgment.

No one is more concerned about unchecked growth, preservation of our regional environment or gridlock than John. He’s a rock solid choice for District 3 supervisor. Why take a chance? Please vote for John Spencer for District 3 supervisor.
