SNMH Auxiliary thanks you

On behalf of the Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, I would like to thank The Union for the comprehensive article on one of our Cancer Center volunteers, Carol Hauswirth, and her campaign to create the beautiful cancer bracelets that many of us proudly wear.

Carol is just one of 115 active volunteers who serve SNMH each day, trying to make our patients and visitors more comfortable and assist the staff in their demanding jobs.

The Auxiliary, as well as the hospital, is celebrating our 50th year of caring for the community. We have many varied volunteer jobs available and invite you to find out how you can enjoy the rewards of helping your neighbors.

For information, contact Judy Emerson, membership chairman, at 432-5899.
