Sharon Burns

A memorial service and potluck for Sharon Burns will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 21, at Uncle Sonny’s at the Cedar Ridge Y. For more information call B.J. at 477-9003.

Mrs. Burns died Saturday, April 22, at home. She was 60.

She was born June 10, 1945, in Berkeley, to Dale Gardner and Dorothy Belle (Katon) Vorous. She was a 40 year resident of Nevada County. She was a member of the Grass Valley Moose Lodge. She enjoyed shopping and taking care of her two dogs.



She is survived by her granddaughter, Laura Ellen Marie Freeman of Grass Valley; grandson, Morgan Victor Paul Rogers of Colorado; brother, Dale “Skip” Vorous of North Carolina; and daughter, Michelle Crawford of Grass Valley.

Memorial contributions may be made for her granddaughters care to 15760 Shebley Road, Grass Valley, 95945.




Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of the Angels Mortuary.
