Setting the record straight

At the end of January, The Union published a police blotter item regarding a man picked up for drug possession who claimed to be a resident of Graniteville. The man has land on the Cumberland Mine, about three miles outside Graniteville.

The five full-time residents (four men and one woman) feel his incorrect inference puts a good community in a bad light. We understand that The Union gets its information from police reports and would simply like to set the record straight.
