Sense of honesty

I have known Linda Stevens since I moved to Nevada County in the year 2000. It has been my privilege to know her both personally, professionally, and in her role as a member of the city council and as mayor of Grass Valley.

Linda has a refreshing sense of honesty, perspective, direction, and commitment to goals that are both honorable and supportive of the needs of the citizens and the communities in which people work and live.

Because of my vocation in human and social services, I especially appreciate Linda’s commitment to seniors, and to the everyday needs of those whom she represents as a truly public servant. This is an essential quality that is crucial to success as a county supervisor.

As a supervisor, she will be a true asset to the county, to the administration of county business, and to the needs of her supervisorial district. She will bring to the board the common sense, courtesy, and focus that is so essential for good governance at the county level, and I cannot commend or support her too highly.

Your vote for Linda will assure a return to visionary and sensible leadership at the Nevada County Board of Supervisors.
