Sarah Edmond

Services for Sarah Enid Edmond of Grass Valley will be conducted at a later date in Anaheim. Interment will take place at Melrose Abbey in Anaheim.

Ms. Edmond died Thursday, Oct. 26, in Meadow View Manor in Grass Valley. She was 92.

She was born Oct. 16, in Meridian, to Clarence and Ida (DeVol) Campbell. She graduated from Long Beach Poly High School. She retired from Northrop after 36 years. She began her career in the aircraft division, then transferred to Anaheim in 1951. There she worked for the vice president and manager. In 1961, she transferred to the corporate office to work for the vice president of commercial and industrial programs. She was a member and past president of the Orange County Executive Secretaries. She enjoyed oil and watercolor painting.



She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dan and Janice Edmond of Grass Valley; grandsons Clark and Bradley Edmond of Grass Valley; sister, Jean Pyle of Seal Beach; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister, Lois Berryman.

Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of the Angels Mortuary.
