Santina Hyer

Private memorial services will be conducted for Santina L. Hyer of Camptonville.

Mrs. Hyer died Sunday, Aug. 1. She was 91.

She was born Jan. 18, 1913, to Pete and Ginny Napoletano in California. She attended school at Alameda High School. She married Ralph Hyer in Sacramento in 1938 and was employed as a beautician for 36 years in the Bay Area.



She was the founder of Cruise Haven Yacht Club in Alameda.

Mrs. Hyer was preceded in death by her husband in 2001; son, Ronald, in 1990; and daughter, Patricia in 1996.




She is survived by nephew, Art Hyer, of Manton; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of The Neptune Society of Northern California, Grass Valley branch.
