Sandie Phillips

Services for Sandie Grace Phillips, a former Grass Valley/Nevada City resident, will be conducted Saturday in Nevada City. For information regarding service locations and times, contact Carla Paulos at 265-6196 or Freda Barnes at 273-8213.

Mrs. Phillips died Tuesday, Feb. 3, at her daughter’s home in Rosamond. She was 63.

She was born in Texas and lived with her family in Nevada City for most of her life. She worked as a Safeway retail clerk in Grass Valley until she retired in 1995. It was then that she and her husband, Bill, began their travels around the United States.



She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Bill; son, David R. Phillips of Hanford; daughter, Michelle D. Koharik of Rosamond; and five grandchildren.
