Russell’s speech a winner

Natalie Russell of Nevada Union High School will represent the Penn Valley Hi Graders Lions Club in the zone level competition of the 65th annual Lions Clubs International Student Speakers Program.

Russell was selected by a panel of judges for her speech on the topic “Energy – What’s the Future?” Larry McGrath, also of Nevada Union, was runner-up.



The zone competition will be held at 2:15 p.m. March 10 at the Higgins Diggins Lions Club.
