Russell Kenyon

A celebration of the life of Russell L. Kenyon of Grass Valley will be conducted at 6 p.m. Sept. 25 at the Nevada City Elks Lodge.

Mr. Kenyon died Tuesday, Sept. 10, at home. He was 67.



He was born Dec. 30, 1934, in Glendale to Purdie Kenyon and Kathryn Wheeler. He served in the U.S. Army from 1954 to 1956. He graduated from Verdugo Hills High School in Tujunga and Los Angeles Trade Technical College. He married Patricia on Sept. 16, 1956, in Las Vegas.

He was a graphic artist at Grass Valley Group. He was a member of the Nevada City Elks Lodge. He enjoyed computer graphics and models.




He is survived by his wife, Patricia Kenyon of Grass Valley; sons and daughters-in-law Robert and Lori Kenyon of San Jose and Thomas and Vicky Kenyon of Brighton, Colo.; son Timothy Kenyon of Grass Valley; and grandchildren Stefani, Patrick, Matthew and Zachary, all of Brighton, and Jeffrey of San Jose. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Elks National Foundation.

Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of the Angels Mortuary.
