Russell Brooks

Graveside services for Russell R. Brooks of Stockton were conducted Friday in Penn Valley.

Mr. Brooks died Tuesday, Nov. 26, in a convalescent hospital. He was 65.

He was born July 10, 1937, in Oakland to Joseph and Helen Brooks. He married Loretta Martin in 1961. He served in the U.S. Army and was a computer information systems analyst for Kaiser Aluminum in Spokane, Wash. He was a member of the Golden Gate Water Ski Club and enjoyed snow skiing.

He is survived by his wife, Loretta, of Stockton; son, David Edward of Everett, Wash.; brother, David Leroy of Pleasant Hills; sister, Janet Baugher of Penn Valley; and mother, Helen Weast of Grass Valley.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Brooks in 1962; and brother, Wesley Joseph Brooks in 1963.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 2222 Watt Ave., Sacramento 95825.

Arrangements were under the direction of Fisbie-Warren & Carroll Mortuary in Stockton.
