Roy Taylor

Graveside services for Roy Arthur Taylor of Penn Valley will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Penn Valley District Cemetery. Pastor Ric Hammond will officiate the services.

Mr. Taylor died Wednesday, Feb. 16, in Grass Valley. He was 88.

He was born Aug. 9, 1916, in Orchard Park, N.M., to Roy and Jessie Taylor. He graduated form Orange Union High School in Orange. He married Ola Lee on Nov. 6, 1936, in Yuma, Ariz. He was a traveling consultant for a major food processing corporation. He was a member of the Penn Valley Community Church.



He is survived by his daughter, Pam Taylor of Penn Valley; son, Mike Taylor of Los Angeles; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ola Lee Taylor; and daughter, Carole Storlie.

Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of the Angels Mortuary.
