Rose McClaskey

A private family service will be held for Rose Marie McClaskey of Penn Valley.

Mrs. McClaskey passed away June 30. She was 57.

Mrs. McClaskey was born Nov. 29, 1949, to Edward J. D’Arata and Clara R. (La Neve) D’Arata in Toronto, Italy. She received a bachelor of arts degree from the University of California, Los Angels and a masters of arts degree from South Dakota State University.



Her hobbies included horses, motorcycles and reading.

Mrs. McClaskey is survived by her daughters Rebekah and Rachel McClaskey of Denver, Colo.; mother, Clara D’Arata of Penn Valley; brother and sister-in-law, Eddie and Peggy D’Arata of Grass Valley; brother, Ronnie D’Arata of Grass Valley; sisters and brothers-in-law Liz and Tom Walsh of Penn Valley, Ava and Mark Springer of Riverside and Charisse and Steve Lolli of Rough and Ready. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas McClaskey.




Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of the Angels Mortuary.
