Ronald E. Ewerth

Memorial services were held on Feb. 9 at Epiphany Lutheran Church in Conyers, Ga., for Ronald E. Ewerth, who passed away on Feb. 5. No local services will be held for Mr. Ewerth. He was 72.

Mr. Ewerth was born on Dec. 9, 1934, in Lincoln, Neb.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1952-56, then in the Navy Reserves for one year, after which he served for four years in the U.S. Coast Guard.



Between 1962-65, Mr. Ewerth was a commercial sign painter. He then served eight years as a deputy sheriff in Sacramento before starting Fine Art Signs in Grass Valley.

In 1980, Mr. Ewerth and his family moved to Stone Mountain, Ga., where he started another sign company with the same name.




Mr. Ewerth is survived by his wife of 49 years, Jewell Ewerth of Covington, Ga.; brother, Raymond Ewerth of Sacramento; sister, Bonnie Cordes of Grants Pass, Ore.; mother, Agnes Gorton of Grants Pass, Ore.; sons Ron C. Ewerth and R. Scott Ewerth; daughter-in-law, Ginger G. Ewerth; and grandchildren Sydney, Connor, Max, Mason and Kelly.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Epiphany Lutheran Church, 2375 GA Hwy. 20 SE, Conyers, GA, 30094.
