Ronald Cole

A memorial and celebration of life for Ronald Joseph Cole of Grass Valley will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Twin Cities Church in Grass Valley.

Mr. Cole died Sunday, March 19, at home. He was 42.

He was born Nov. 28, 1963, in California, to Oscar and Rose Cole. He was raised in Aptos and attended local schools in Aptos. He married Dianne Dow. He was a licensed massage therapist. He volunteered with the local AIDS Project in Grass Valley. He was a member of the local Multiple Sclerosis Support Group and attended Adult Day Services on a regular basis. He also participated in counseling his peers. He was a member of Twin Cities Church. He enjoyed all outdoor activities.



He is survived by his wife of five years, Dianne Cole of Grass Valley; parents, Oscar and Rose Cole of Aptos; sister, Michelle Cole of Elizabeth, Colo.; aunt, Linda Perry of Santa Cruz; uncle, Bill Like of Santa Cruz; aunt and uncle, Beverly and Bill Perry of Santa Cruz; friend and care provider, Johnny Anderson; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother, David Cole in 1979; and his grandparents.

Memorial contributions may be made to Adult Services, 138 New Mohawk Road, Suite 1-B, Nevada City, 95959.
