Roland Doll

In accordance with his wishes, no services will be held for Roland T. Doll of Grass Valley.

Mr. Doll died Friday, Aug. 30, in Grass Valley. He was 74.



He was born Jan. 13, 1928, in Ellinwood, Kan., the son of Bernard and Mary Doll.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1952 and later worked as an inventory manager for General Motors for more than 42 years. He loved big band music and rose gardening.




Survivors include brothers Gene Doll of Cedar Ridge, Bert Doll of San Francisco and Jack Doll of Peck, Kan.; sisters Elsie Mahan of Chula Vista and Maureen Loeffler and Margaret Keenan, both of Wichita, Kan.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
