Robert Zarcone

Robert “Bob” Zarcone, 51, of Los Gatos, died Wednesday, Sept. 20, after a battle with cancer.

No services are planned.

Mr. Zarcone was born Oct. 30, 1952, in Oakland to Abraham and Angela Zarcone. He graduated from West Valley College in San Jose. He was an author and playwright. While living in Nevada County, he worked for KNCO radio and produced original plays at the Nevada Theatre. He relocated to the Bay Area in 1986, where he was the founding partner in 1st Engineering in Campbell. He had formerly worked for Alfa Tech Engineering, Zarcone and Associates, and other electrical engineering firms and was well known in the Bay Area electrical field.



He is survived by his mother, Angela Zarcone of Milpitas; and sisters Judy Sindicic of Richmond, Susan Short of Magalia and Kathy Miller of Nevada City; and companion and caregiver, Shevawn McCafferty. He was preceded in death by his father, Abraham Zarcone.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Foothills or the American Cancer Society.
