Robert Sherrell

Graveside services for Robert Michael Sherrell of Florida will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at Sierra Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Nevada City.

Mr. Sherrell died Wednesday, April 19, in Oceanside. He was 74.

He was born March 8, 1932, in Florida, to Dwight and Irene Sherrell. He served in the U.S. Army during the 1960s. He married Patricia in Grass Valley. He was self employed at Boot Hill Pest Control in Grass Valley and Placerville. He enjoyed golfing and country music.



He is survived by his wife, Patricia Sherrell of Florida; stepchildren Jud Emery, Cindy Maple, and Jill Michalski all of Grass Valley, Kimberly Stephens of Van Nuys, Marjan Otto of San Luis Obispo, Jamie Cain of Oceanside, and Josh Paul of Burbank; 16 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Robert M. Sherrell in 1998.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross.




Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper & Weaver Mortuary.
