Robert Morgan

Services for Robert Irvin Morgan of Penn Valley will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at the Lake Wildwood Commodore Park Pavilion.

Mr. Morgan died Saturday, Sept. 11, at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital. He was 57.

He was born Oct. 28, 1946, in Long Beach, to Frank and Laberta Morgan. He served in the U.S. Marines. He graduated from Long Beach Poly High School, and Long Beach City College as a journeyman electrician. He married Linda on Jan. 29, 1977, in Hacienda Heights. He worked as a sanitation supervisor for Placer County. He was a member of Penn Valley Little League, and NU Football Filmographer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, youth sports, NU football, community service and gold mining.



He is survived by his wife, Linda Morgan of Penn Valley; son, Brett Morgan of Penn Valley; brother, Frank Morgan of Livingston; and nieces Julie Sell of McDonald, Pa., and Jenny Morgan of Bellflower. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Fernando Morgan in 1987; and mother, Laberta Leona Morgan in 1978.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
