Robert McCoy

Private services are planned for Robert McCoy of Grass Valley.

Mr. McCoy died Sunday, Sept. 1, in Grass Valley. He was 82.

He was born Nov. 6, 1919, in Anaheim to Archie LaVern McCoy and Alice May Weaver. He married Virginia in 1942 in Santa Ana. He worked for Robinson Timber before retiring. He was a member of the Nevada City Lions Club. He enjoyed vegetable gardening, music, woodworking, cooking and reading.



He is survived by his wife, Virginia McCoy of Grass Valley; daughter and son-in-law, Laurie and Joe Kilgore of Eureka Springs, Ark.; son Kenneth McCoy of Eureka Springs; son and daughter-in-law Randy and Debbie McCoy of Grass Valley; grandchildren Lisa Garcia, Gina Whalin, Sandi McCoy, Amy McCoy, Randi McCoy and Coby McCoy; and two great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of the Angels Mortuary.
