Robert Hall

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at Sierra Presbyterian Church, 175 Ridge Road, Nevada City, for Robert James Hall.

Mr. Hall died Sept. 24 in Grass Valley. He was 80.

He was born May 27, 1927, to Maude V. Galbreth and Earl W. Hall in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.



Mr. Hall earned his bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

On June 23, 1951, he married Phyllis in Schenectady, N.Y. He became an American




citizen in 1953.

Mr. Hall was employed for 40 years as a sales engineer in the power generations division for General Electric Co.

He was a member of Sierra Presbyterian Church, the Elfun Society and Pi Kappa Alpha. His hobbies included model railroading, photography, high fidelity, computers, music and golf.

Mr. Hall is survived by his wife, Phyllis M. Hall of Grass Valley; daughters Linda H. Satkowski of San Mateo, Shelley A. Mancini of San Clemente and Melanie H. Coursey of Grass Valley; and six grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Foundation or the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
