Robert Carcot

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 12, at Neighborhood Church, 20600 John Drive in Castro Valley for Robert “Bob” F. Carcot.

Mr. Carcot of Hayward died peacefully Sept. 28 in Grass Valley. He was 65.

Mr. Carcot was born Jan. 10, 1942, in San Francisco. He graduated from San Lorenzo High School and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.



Mr. Carcot worked for Cutter Laboratories and for Grass Valley Group. He enjoyed fishing, astronomy, growing orchids, environmental concerns and being with family. He was a member of the Neighborhood Church in Castro Valley.

Mr. Carcot is survived by his parents, Frank and Charlotte Carcot of San Leandro; brother and sister-in-law Bill and Marilyn Carcot of San Leandro; sister and brother-in-law Barbara and Biff Martin of Fremont; nephews Brian and wife Heidi Carcot of Antioch, and Kevin and wife Phoebie Carcot of Placerville; grand-nieces Emily, Grace, Madelyn and Faith; and grand-nephews Elijah and Josiah.




Mr. Carcot loved his faithful cat, Whiskers.
