Ridge Meadows development up for approval Tuesday night

Plans for Ridge Meadows, a 49-residence development off Ridge Road go before the Grass Valley City Council for approval Tuesday night.

Upper Slate Creek Road ” a private street ” would be the main entrance to the development. The city and the road’s property owner have agreed in concept to a deal allowing access to the development, according to a report by city Associate Planner Dan Chance, but haven’t completed the deal yet.

In other business, the council is expected to extend a trial period allowing dogs at Condon Park. Late last year, council members OK’d dogs at the park through June 30. The new extension lasts through this year.

The council meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Grass Valley City Hall, 125 East Main St.
