Richard McNulty

Richard Thomas McNulty, 74, of Grass Valley died Friday, July 16, at home.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no services.

Mr. McNulty was born June 25, 1930, in Rochester, N.Y., to Margaret and Thomas McNulty. He graduated from Sacramento State and served as a captain in the U.S. Air Force in China as a linguist. He married Gail Ann on Sept. 16, 1975, in South Lake Tahoe. He worked fro the State of California and then opened Cap. Macs Coffee, Tea and Tobacco in Maui Hawaii in 1975. He enjoyed restoring Italian cars, especially Fiats.



He is survived by his wife, Gail Ann McNulty; children, Thomas, Timothy, Terence and Debra; stepdaughter, Kimberly Hunt; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Foothills or the Sacramento Children’s Home.




Arrangements are under the direction of the Neptune Society of Northern California, Grass Valley branch.
