Richard Krewson

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 30, at Sierra Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Nevada City for Richard Lee Krewson. Priest Steve Tschoepe of the New Apostolic Church will be officiate the services. Mr. Krewson passed away March 24 in Grass Valley. He was 74.

Mr. Krewson was born Aug. 12, 1932, to Orville and Catherine Krewson in Dayton, Ohio. He attended Riverside and Morepark colleges and served in Korea with the U.S. Army.

On Oct. 7, 1962, Mr. Krewson married Marianne Krewson.



He was counselor at Milhouse Boy’s Ranch.

Mr. Krewson sang in high school and college and in his church choir.




He is survived by his wife, Marianne Krewson of Grass Valley; sister and brother-in-law, Cathie and Ron Ferry of Simi Valley; two nieces and three nephews; and three grandnieces and three grandnephews. Mr. Krewson was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial contributions can be sent to the Northern California Alzheimers Organization for Research.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
