Richard Hufford

Graveside services for Richard Arden Hufford of Council, Idaho, will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at Millville Cemetery in Millville.

Mr. Hufford died Thursday, Aug. 15, in Council. He was 66.

He was born March 24, 1936, in Red Bluff to Albert Francis and Doris Alene Reynolds Hufford. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1956 to 1958. He was in the logging business for 40 years.



He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, beekeeping, woodworking and being out in the woods. He also enjoyed morning walks with his dog. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Council, where he lived for eight years.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia of Council; mother, Doris Alene Hufford of Palo Cedro; son, Ronald Albert Hufford of Nevada City; daughters Rebecca Dawn Perrault of Forsyth, Mo., and Denise Rachel Naylor of Payette, Idaho; stepdaughters Kathryn Jean Boyd of Brazil, Ind., and Tabatha Fay Landry of Grass Valley; mother of his children, Sandra Hufford of Forsyth; sisters Helen Theresa Rollins and Joyce Alene McCollum, both of Palo Cedro, and Judith Sharon Woodford of Castro Valley; and 14 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and sister, Patricia Laverne Rhinehart.




Memorial contributions may be made to the EMTs of Council, Idaho 83612.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Thomason Funeral Home in Weiser, Idaho.
